Dental Clinic Web Design — London

Your dental practice deserves a website that books patients — not just looks good.

I design and build conversion-focused websites for London dental clinics. Fast, mobile-first, with online booking built in from day one.

Why Practices Lose Patients Online

Most dental websites have the same problem.

They look professional enough. But when a potential patient searches on their phone at 11pm, lands on your site, and can't figure out how to book — they move on. No complaint, no email. They just go somewhere else.

The issue isn't design. The site was built to look good — not to turn visitors into booked appointments.

  • No online booking — or a booking system buried three clicks deep
  • Slow load times — Google ranks fast sites. Patients don't wait for slow ones.
  • Copy written for dentists, not patients — "comprehensive periodontal care" means nothing to someone searching for a check-up in Hackney

This isn't a design problem.
It's a conversion problem.

What's Included

Websites built around how patients actually book.

Every element has a job. The homepage answers "is this the right place?" The service pages answer "can they help me?" The booking flow answers "how do I get in?"

  • Online booking integration — Calendly, Dental Engine, Dentally, or your preferred system, built cleanly into the site
  • Mobile-first design — most patients search on phones. The site works perfectly there first.
  • Local SEO foundation — Google Business Profile alignment, structured data, area-specific targeting (not just "London")
  • Clear service pages — check-ups, Invisalign, implants, emergency, cosmetic — each one written for the patient searching for it
  • Fast load times — built for 90+ on Google PageSpeed, not just "looks fast"
  • Contact forms that work — submissions land in your inbox, not a spam folder
The Business Case

A missed booking is missed revenue.

The average dental appointment is worth £80–£500. If your website loses five potential patients a month because the booking process is unclear or the site loads too slowly — that’s thousands of pounds walking out the door every year.

A well-built site pays for itself. Usually within the first few months.

  • Speed directly affects search rankings and first impressions — Google measures both
  • Clear booking flow reduces the steps between "found you" and "appointment confirmed"
  • Patient-focused copy answers the questions they're actually searching — reducing hesitation before booking

A website that doesn’t convert isn’t neutral. It’s costing you.

Projects

Built to perform.

Every site I build is tested against Google’s Core Web Vitals before going live. Core pages on this site score 100/100 on Google PageSpeed — Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO. Fast, accessible sites rank higher, load faster on mobile, and convert better.

Concept Project

London Dental Clinic

Healthcare — Private Dental, London

Conversion-focused concept for a private dental clinic. Emergency dentistry, Invisalign, and implants. Fast patient journey, visible trust signals, and clear booking flow from the first scroll. Built to demonstrate how a dental site should actually work.

Real Project

KZE Organic Beauty

E-Commerce — UK Organic Skincare

Rebuilt from a slow, outdated setup to a custom e-commerce build with live Stripe checkout, full product catalogue, and production smoke-tested before launch. A different sector — the same performance-first standard.

Technical Proof — Performance-Tested Builds

Performance is part of the build, not an afterthought. Core pages across this site score 100/100 on Google PageSpeed across performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO. The same standard is applied to every project.

How It Works

A simple, structured process.

  1. Discovery call (15 minutes)

I learn about your practice, your patients, and what’s not working with your current site. No commitment, no pitch deck.

  2. Strategy and architecture

Sitemap, copywriting brief, booking flow design. You see the plan before a single line of code is written.

  3. Build

A standard practice site takes 3–5 weeks. You get updates throughout — no disappearing for a month.

  4. Launch and handover

You get a fast, tested site. I make sure you know how to use it and what to do if something needs changing.

Who It’s For

Is this the right fit?

Good Fit

  • Solo practices and partnerships looking to attract more private patients
  • Multi-location practices that need a consistent brand across sites
  • NHS + private mixed practices building out their private patient base
  • New practices launching their first proper website

Not a Fit

  • Large hospital groups or dental chains with in-house development teams
  • Looking for the cheapest possible option — template sites start at free
  • Practices that don’t rely on their website for new patient enquiries
FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need WordPress?

Not necessarily. WordPress works well for practices that want to update content themselves. For practices that want speed, security, and a clean build without the maintenance overhead, a lightweight custom site often works better. We’ll work it out in the discovery call.

How long does it take?

A standard 5–7 page dental website takes 3–5 weeks from kickoff to launch. If you need content written as well, add 1–2 weeks.

Is SEO included?

Every site I build has local SEO foundations built in — meta tags, schema markup, Google Business Profile alignment, and fast load times. Ongoing SEO campaigns are a separate service. See SEO →

How much does a dental clinic website cost?

Projects typically start from £2,000 for a focused, conversion-ready practice site. Larger projects with multiple locations or custom booking systems are scoped and priced separately. We’ll agree everything before any commitment.

Can you work with our existing booking system?

Yes. Whether you use Dental Engine, Dentally, Carestream, or a third-party tool, I’ll integrate it cleanly into the new site.
